What Happens if the Player Goes to War?
Should the player choose to go to war, the dealer will then discard three cards from the deck. This is known as ‘burning’ the cards. Next, the dealer deals a fresh card to the player, and a fresh card to the dealer position.
Three possibilities then come into play:
- Player’s card is higher in value = Player wins his original wager only.
- Dealer’s card is higher in value = Player loses his entire wager (doubled wager).
- A tie between the two = Player wins the full wager (doubled wager).
What About Side Bets?
There is a simple side bet available in Casino War. In this side bet, a player is able to bet on a tie result. If the player takes this side bet and the tie occurs where the dealer and player card are of equal value, the player wins a payout of 10:1 to his original wager value.
